Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the Newton’s Nook Designs June Release!
I’m super excited and can’t wait to introduce you tons of new fabulous goodies this month!!! Ready??? So let’s start!
All the new June products will be available for purchase on Friday, June 22th at Newton’s Nook Designs online store and other craft retailers!
NND Design Team is kicking off this week with a super ADORABLE Playful Pandas stamp set filled with super fun and cute images, fantastic sentiments that can be used through all the year! Love clever and versatile stamps like this!!! All the die cut fans can get the coordinating dies for this set as well. But wait a minute because I’m so thrilled to introduce you two new stencils that NND adds to their collection: Serene Stripes and Sunscape.
Giveaway alert!! NND is giving new Playful Pandas stamp set away to one lucky winner so make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this post to see how to win!
Working on today’s projects, I started with a fun background using new Serene Stripes stencil and Distress Oxide ink in Twisted Citron color. I used an ink blending tool and applied the ink through the stencil, then I added a bit more towards the bottom part of the panel along with a few water droplets and color splashes. Finally I die cut a circle in the center of the rectangle and used both negative and positive parts for my projects.
Next I die cut, stamped with Memento black ink the cute pandas and the accessories Playful Pandas stamp set and colored them with copic markers. These images are so quick and easy to use since pandas are black and white! So no fancy coloring is required! The stamps themselves do all the work for you!!! LOL!!!
The layout of the first card was planned as a circle focus point. I arranged and popped on a foam tape the circle background prepared before, added the cutie panda, a few balloons and a bowl along with a heat embossed sentiment. Some colorful sequins finished this clean and simple project.
Playing with negative part of the background, I added a bunch of bamboo branches creating the panda’s habitat.
Once again the simple coloring was made with copic markers and the fun panda was placed on a fish-tale banner die cut with Frames & Frags die set where I heat embossed the matching sentiment from the same Playful Pandas stamp set.
Finally some colorful sequins were added to this card as a finish touch.
Would you like to win the “Playful Pandas” Stamp Set?
