I’m so happy you’ve joined me today and even more excited to be on the Newton’s Nook Designs blog sharing a simple floral card made for a special day!
Today I played with new beautiful Blooming Botanicals stamp set. I love big stamp sets because they are super simple and fun to use. You don’t need to do any fancy masking, but just stamp or heat emboss the big image and enjoy coloring process and I like to color a lot! So I started this card by stamping the floral image on Neenah Solar White paper with a copic friendly black ink as my intension was to use copic markers of course. But before doing any coloring, I cut the floral stamp into four squares approximately 1½” by 1½” each, arranged them on an A2 size card base and stamped the sentiment from Birthday Essentials stamp set with the same black ink I used before for a perfect match. I decided to try an unusual to me color combo using light blues, light purple and violets. You can find all the exact copic marker I used here at the bottom of this post. Finishing this project, I popped the colored squares on a foam tape for a bit of dimension and added some white dots with a gel pen and a few crystal sequins.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this simple card! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
