In my opinion there would be no perfect birthday without balloons! Right?! LOL!!! That’s why no need to explain you how excited I’m about new Uplifting Wishes Stamp Set and Balloon Shaker Die. Really great addition to the NND collection and just so much fun to play with!

Well, I had one idea in my head and decided to stretch immediately the new Balloon Shaker Die set. And so I die cut twice the outline balloon from a clear plastic and sealed both parts together with a fuse tool, filling the balloon with a few sequins.
Next I started working on the background and trimmed a rectangle from a watercolor paper slightly smaller than my A2 size card base. First of all I did a watercolor wash concentrating the color towards the top part. Once the piece was dry, I applied Transfer Gel from Therm O Wed through just released yesterday Bubbly stencil and let everything air dry for about one hour. When the transfer gel became transparent, I made the foiling using a heat laminator and a gold foiling paper and finally heat embossed a matching gold sentiment using new Uplifting Wishes stamp set. Assembling the card, I adhered the balloon with a few clear dots of glue and popped up the watercolor panel on a foam tape.
