You probably know that I’m a huge fan of the cute mischief designed by NND and love to color him like my kitties. And so I just couldn’t let Santa Paws Newton stamp set die in my stash without a chance to appear on this year holiday cards.
I started this card by stamping the kitty image and the little mouse with a copic friendly ink on a copic friendly paper since my intention was to make coloring part, as you may guess, with copic markers. LOL!!! Once finished with coloring, I die-cut both stamps using the coordinating dies and worked on the layout! I added some coordinating colors to the background through Snowfall stencil with Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac Distress inks and an ink blending tool. Next came a focal point created out of a tag and stitched snow slops die-cut from Fancy Edges Tag Die Set and Land Border Die Set. Once added the colors with the same Distress inks I used previously on the card base and the texture with a white gel pen to the little snow scene, I heat embossed the sentiment with Liquid Platinum embossing powder from Ranger, popped a few elements on a foam tape for some dimension and finally added a few non distracting sequins.
That’s all for today! Hope you like this cute card! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
