Happy Saturday!
I’ve popped in for a super quick post made for Day 2 of the Craftin Desert Divas May Release!!!
I played again with an adorable Ladybug Garden stamp set and experimented a little bit with a new to me color media! In case you missed, you can catch up my sneak peek project featuring this set right here!
I stamped three times with VersaMark Onyx Black ink the same cutie bear dressed like a ladybug and made my coloring with Polychromos and Prismacolor Premier colored pencils! I’ve just got a colorless blender pencil from Prismacolor brand and couldn’t wait to try it! I added a very simple non-directional shade on the edge of the stamps, layering a few similar pencils, and then blended the color towards the center.
Since the inspiration for the color combo came from a rainbow plaid pattern paper I had on hand, I decided to add it to my project, die-cutting a scalloped frame from Fancy Frame die set and popping the bears on a foam tape above the heat embossed sentiment that comes with the same Ladybug Garden stamp set.
That all for today! Hope you like this colorful card! As always thanks so much for stopping by! And please, check Craftin Desert Divas Event Page on Facebook for more inspiration, amazing projects and sneak peeks from the Design Team, freebies and awesome giveaways!
