So excited to be a “Guest Sweetie” today over at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge blog! Have you heard about them? This is such a SWEET Challenge Group! For each challenge they post an amazing cupcake photo and color combo for inspiration! Everybody likes cupcakes, right?
This week they are celebrating their #400 Challenge! Woo-Hoo!!! And so they invite participants to combine a birthday theme project with a past Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. Past challenges can be found on the CIC Pinterest Board.
Newton’s Nook Designs is sponsoring this challenge today so if you play along, you have a chance to win a store credit to NND online store at newtonsnookdesigns.com! Don’t miss a chance!
I created a super simple watercolor card using a bunch of SWEET stamps from Newton’s Nook Designs!!! They are from Made From Scratch (this set couldn’t be any perfect for this scheme!), Newton Loves Cake and Love & Chocolate stamp sets!
I decided to use a gray dye ink instead of a usual black one for stamping to achieve a softer look! I used a watercolor paper and did a very simple coloring just playing with my watercolors and wet-on-wet technique! Once dried I popped up the central part on a foam tape and added a white embossed sentiment on a matching gray cardstock. I tiny die-cut heart finished the card!
Hope you like this sweet card and make sure you pop over to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge blog to see more fun today! As always thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate your love and support!
