I’ve just popped in to share another card from my Holiday Cards Series. It’s definitely a very simple one that, I’m sure, everyone can do as it doesn’t require any madness color skills at all. The silver metallic elements give it some interest and shine that is always perfect for Holiday Season cards.
The background was done with Peerless colors (but you can use any watercolor media you already have on hand). I quickly blended some random colors from teal to dark blue on a piece of watercolor card stock. And just for something extra I added water droplets and color splashes.
Then I die-cut and heat embossed with a silver embossing powder some snowflakes and the greeting. They are Simon Says Stamp’s Alexis, Maryanne and Abby snowflake dies. To make the die-cut pieces look perfectly coated and for some extra texture I repeated the embossing process three times and finished to have a beautiful metallic elements that were simply glued on the watercolor panel.
Hope you like the card and thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate it a lot!
