Holiday Card Series 2014 # 10 – Season’s Greetings

Season's Greetings (1)

Hi, all!

here’s number ten card from my Holiday Card Series. I ordered this Gorjuss stamp set some months ago thinking about Holiday Season’s cards and finally had time to color it. Copic coloring takes so long every time, but the result is definitely worth the effort. Besides recently I participated in copic class for cardmakers so I need to stretch my copics more. The colors were inspired by the image on the packaging except of the typical back hair you can usually see on the Gorjuss images.

The background was made applying distress inks and Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil. This stencil is my favorite one, I use it almost on every holiday or winter card. It adds the “wow” finish touch with no effort at all. When I’m unhappy with the background or don’t know what to do, I go straight to this stencil and every time I lift it up it seems to be like “Christmas”.

The sentiment is the SSS Season’s Greeting Craft Die. I die-cut it several times, glued together and adhered straight to the card.

Of course, what the holiday card is without Wink of Stella and white gel pen for finishing touches?

Hope you like it! And thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Oh, she is darling, Tatiana! And she fits in so nicely with the falling snow, too! Thanks for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesay challenge!
